What is Freediving Team of Finland?
Freediving Team of Finland is a dive club dedicated to freediving. It was founded on the first Finnish national freediving team after the world championship in Ibiza. FDTF is the only dive club in Finland dedicated solely to the sport of freediving and has members in most major cities. Our goal is increasing the general awareness of the sport of freediving and especially a responsible and safe way to do it. This includes public events, education and organizing freediving activities for our members.
What is Freediving?
Freediving is simply diving without breathing equipment, holding your breath. There are many disciplines of freediving. The post common is the so called "recreational" freediving, which is diving simply for the pleasure of it. Spearfishing could also be classified as a freediving discipline.
